Kingdom Raids completes seed funding round led by Animoca Brands
November 10th, 2021 — Kingdom Raids, the upcoming play-to-earn (P2E) role-playing video game, has raised $750,000 in a Seed Funding round led by Animoca Brands.
Investors in the round included Animoca Brands and Kingsway Capital. The new capital will be used for the development and expansion of Kingdom Raids.
The round was led by Animoca Brands, a global leader in gamification and blockchain with a large portfolio of over 100 investments in NFT-related companies and decentralized projects that are contributing to building the open metaverse.
Kingdom Raids is being developed by Alley Labs, the AAA gaming studio that has attracted over 100 million downloads for its previous games.
Kingdom Raids takes place in the imaginary realm of “Dood Kingdom”, a land of mystery and adventure in which players lead a troop of mighty heroes to build and defend their own castles and fight against traitors to regain lost lands for their kingdom. With the goal to deliver appealing gameplay and a genuine in-game socializing experience, Kingdom Raids will offer various in-game activities for players such as PvP, PvE, Gungeons, Tournaments and Clans.
Players of Kingdom Raids will earn valuable rewards in the form of tokens or NFTs when winning battles and conquering fearsome enemies and monsters.
Kingdom Raids also said that Mr. Yat Siu, the Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Animoca Brands, has taken the role of advisor to the project. Mr. Siu’s valuable insights and Animoca Brands’ many successful NFT game projects and partners, such as Sky Mavis (Axie Infinity), Dapper Labs (CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot), OpenSea, Harmony, Bitski, and Alien Worlds, will help Kingdom Raids to become one of the most anticipated NFT games.
